Goliad County Senior Citizen’s Inc, is a 501c3 organization that has played a vital role in Goliad County since 1979 by providing food security and a sense of community to our elderly population. The organization provides a hot nutritious lunch five days a week for approximately 60 homebound seniors located in Goliad County. A hot lunch is also provided five days a week for those seniors that can come to the center. The program also facilitates active aging through weekly activities including exercise classes, bingo, dominoes, and bunco. There are educational presentations on topics that are viable to aging adults. The center provides fellowship amongst our seniors providing them with a sense of inclusion within the community.
